The highly anticipated movie “Avengers Infinity War” was a very big hit in theaters this past year. The movie made over 2 billion dollars at the box office and is recognized as the fourth highest grossing film of all time according to Newsday. The movie was directed by brothers Joe and Anthony Russo, with screenplay by Stephen McFeely and Christopher Markus. The movie stars; Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Chris Evans as Captain America, and Josh Brolin as Thanos. In Avengers Infinity War, Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, and the rest of the Avengers team up to prevent Thanos from getting all six infinity stones and destroying half of all life in the universe. The movie features the Avengers split up after the events of “Captain America Civil War”. The Avengers after learning about the upcoming threat eventually decide to team up into small groups based on their circumstances; Doctor Strange with Iron Man and Spider-Man, Thor with the Guardians of the Galaxy, Vision with Scarlet Witch, Captain America, Black Widow, Bruce Banner (Hulk), and War Machine. All these groups try their best to protect one of the six infinity stones which include; the Reality Stone, the Space Stone, the Power Stone, the Mind Stone, the Time Stone, and the Soul Stone. In the end the Avengers decide to team up into 2 bigger groups with some fan favorites meeting for the first time. Thanks to the circumstances that they are found in, one of the groups stations in the planet of Titan while the other one stations in Wakanda which is located on East Africa. The ending although is great for some, it makes part of the movie feel less worthwhile to watch. The movie offers great visual effects, stunning cinematography, great acting and a script focused on the villain’s perspective. The movie was also suspenseful and it managed to keep viewers on the edge of their seats. This movie also happened to contain some comic relief in order to alleviate viewers from the suspense moments.

Overall, I did find this movie to be quite entertaining to watch and I would recommend it to any fans of Marvel as well as superhero fanatics.
