News : Larry Nassar sentenced for 45 to 175 years in jail after plead guilty to criminal sexual conduct

 

After 7 days of hearing statements from 156 victims of his sexual abuse patients he’s had for years, the former US Gymnastic and Michigan State University doctor was sentenced 45 to 175 years in federal prison , meaning he will spend everyday of his life in prison.

 

Larry Nassar was fired by the USA Gymnastics team in 2015 , after nearly 20 years of working for them , after accusations started of his sexual abuse. The investigation started in September 2016 when a unnamed gymnast  and Rachael Denhollander spoke up and said that during treatments , they were sexually abused by Nassar in 1990 through the early 2000’s . There is also reports that Michigan State received numerous reports beginning in 1998 accusing Nassar of sexually abusing young girls/women, while victims families and . A few months ago , Larry was sentenced to 60+ years in prison for child pornagrahy charges  ,  unknown if it is related to his sexual abuse scandal.

 

Over the 7 day trial, over 150 survivors faced Nassar one by one and shared their stories of abuse including USA gymnastics such as Aly Raisman , Gabby Douglas , and Mattie Larson and many more USA Gymnastics gymnast and michigan state university gymnastics and patients of his. Many other gymnasts have also have come out via social media but chose not to speak at the hearings. Many spoke in tears ,  getting their message across in hopes to get Nassar the longest possible sentence , and so they did

 

On wednesday, January 25th , Judge Rosemarie Aquilina sentenced Nassar up to 175 years in prison, adding 75 additional years from his original 100 years. Judge Aquilla even said “i’ve just signed your death warrant”.  

 

 

Opinion : Larry “The child Molester” Nassar and his 175 year deserved sentence

 

On January 25th Larry Nasser was just sentenced to 65 to 175 years for his absolutely disgusting behavior for decades of sexual abusing innocent young children from the ages of 6 to teenagers , meaning he will rot in Prison for the rest of his sad excuse of a life. . He got what he deserved for being the manipulator he is and for forcing young girls on to him for his own sexual pleasure.

Larry was fired by the USA Gymnastics team even though he had been accused since the beginning of 1990 up to this past year and only now many are coming forward. It is so unbelievable that the The USA Team had only fired two short years ago is actually disgusting.  after decades of abusing young innocent girls , now hes only getting punished? The USA Gymnastics team needs to get their act together before they let another one of these molesters near young gymnast.

And did she hear every single one of them. On Wednesday, January 25th , Judge Rosemarie Aquilina sentenced Nassar up to 175 years in prison, adding 75 additional years from his original 100 years. Judge Aquilla even said “I’ve just signed your death warrant”.  Larry Nassar will indeed spend every second of the rest of his ungrateful life in the jailhouse.
