Undoubtedly the tension in the Korea Peninsula has risen significantly with the United States growing presence in the past five years, but behind the curtains, our men and women in uniform are playing mind games with the most notorious dictator of our time. With North Koreas capabilities growing regarding ballistic and nuclear missiles the U.S., Japan, South Korea, & China have been discussing how to deal with the ever-growing threat there is always that fear lingering making everyone wonder if Kim Jong-Un will ever push that big red button and attack. The U.S. has progressed their anti-missile program in South Korea to protect South Korean assets and U.S. militant bases in the peninsula. So, both sides have missiles pointed at each other and every day our military decides whether to attack or not, but so does North Korea. This is when everything comes down to mind games. Both sides make threats and comments that carry the weight of war. People have grown used to North Koreans comments, but right now are they more meaningful and more authoritative than ever before. All we can do is see if the North Koreans do push the button and countdown the doomsday clock, but only time can tell.
